Tissue Paper Flamingo

Let’s make our own flamingo friend—crafty, colorful and simply fabulous.

You’ll Need:

  • White paper or cardstock
  • Pink and dark pink tissue paper
  • Glue stick or liquid glue
  • Markers or crayons

Let’s Make it:

  1. Draw or print a simple flamingo outline.
  2. Tear tissue paper into small squares, crumple them into tiny balls and glue them inside the flamingo’s body to make the fluffy feathers.
  3. Use markers or crayons to color the head, legs and beak. Add grass, flowers or even a sunny sky to complete your scene.

Why We Love It:

  • Sparks curiosity about flamingos and tropical animals in a fun, creative way.
  • Simple to set up, yet so satisfying to create and decorate.
  • Encourages fine motor skills as little hands tear, roll and glue tissue pieces one by one.
