Dad, You Rock

This footprint guitar turns your little one’s step into a rockin’ Father’s Day surprise — a fun and creative way to celebrate just how awesome Dad really is.

You’ll Need:

  • White cardstock or thick paper
  • Watercolor paints (reds, oranges or any favorite colors)
  • Paintbrush and water cup
  • Black marker or pen

Let’s Make it:

  1. Paint the bottom of your child’s foot and gently press it onto the paper to make a footprint — this will become the body of the guitar.
  2. Let it dry completely.
  3. Use a black marker to draw the guitar’s neck, strings, and details connecting to the footprint shape.
  4. Add the message “Dad, you rock!” at the top and let your little artist decorate around it.

Why We Love It:

  • A simple, meaningful way for your kid to express love and appreciation.
  • Combines art, creativity and emotional connection in one project.
  • Makes the perfect keepsake that dads will treasure forever.
