Roasted broccoli and cauliflower

Ingredients

  • 1 lb / 450 gr Broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 lb / 450 gr Cauliflower cut into florets
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • salt and black pepper per taste
  • ½ lemon, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F / 220°
  2. Arrange the broccoli and cauliflower florets on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt.
  3. Roast until they become crisp-tender with lightly charred edges – about 20 to 25 min.
  4. If desired squeeze the juice of ½ lemon and finish with sprinkle of salt and pepper to taste.
