Leafy Sun Puppet

Who says the sun only shines in summer? With leafy rays and a happy face, your kid will love creating their own sunshine and turning it into a fall puppet that’s perfect for playful afternoons.

You’ll Need:

  • Yellow paper
  • Autumn leaves
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue
  • A stick ( for holding)
  • Marker

Let’s Make it:

  1. Cut a large yellow circle for the sun’s face and glue it to the center of your paper.
  2. Arrange autumn leaves all around the circle to create glowing sun rays, and glue them down.
  3. Add googly eyes and a smile with a marker, then tape a stick to the back if you want to turn it into a sunny puppet.

Why We Love It:

  • Encourages creativity.
  • Combines nature crafting with imaginative play.
  • Builds fine motor skills with gluing and assembling.
  • Perfect for storytelling and puppet shows.
