Rain Cloud Craft

Turn a few simple materials into a fluffy rain cloud – it’s an easy, hands-on craft that’s perfect for a rainy-day theme and looks beautiful as a decoration.

You’ll Need:

  • Cotton balls
  • White cardstock or paper plate (for the cloud base)
  • Blue construction paper or craft foam (for raindrops)
  • String, yarn or ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Glue or tape

Let’s Make it:

  1. Cut a cloud shape from the paper plate or cardstock.
  2. Glue cotton balls all over the cloud until it’s fully covered and fluffy.
  3. Cut raindrop shapes from blue paper or foam.
  4. Attach the yarn pieces to the bottom of the cloud, then glue the raindrops along each string to make your rain dance beneath the cloud.
