3D Paper Pumpkin

This simple and fun pumpkin craft is the perfect Thanksgiving project — easy for little hands and beautiful to display all season long.

You’ll Need:

  • Orange construction paper or cardstock
  • Green paper (for the leaf and curly vine)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick or liquid glue
  • Pencil and something round to trace (like a cup)

Let’s Make it:

  1. Trace and cut several orange circles (about 12–16 works best).
  2. Fold each circle in half. Start gluing the halves together back-to-back until all are attached, leaving two sides open.
  3. Once the stack is complete, glue the two end halves together to create a round 3D pumpkin shape.
  4. Cut a leaf from green paper and glue it on top. For the curly vine, cut a thin strip of green paper, curl it around a pencil and attach it next to the leaf.

Why We Love It:

  • Encourages patience and sequencing.
  • A calming, screen-free craft.
  • Doubles as a stunning handmade Thanksgiving decoration.
