Snowy Winter Village

This cozy winter village is the perfect way to stay warm at home and craft together with Mom and Daddy on a snowy day.

You’ll Need:

  • Blue cardstock or construction paper (for the background)
  • Colored paper (red, green, purple, orange) for buildings
  • White paper or cotton pads (for snow)
  • Brown paper (for the tree trunk)
  • Yellow paper (for windows)
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Cotton ball
  • Black marker
  • White paint and cotton swab (for snowflakes)

Let’s Make it:

  1. Cut out tall, colorful rectangles to make your buildings and glue them onto the blue paper to start your village.
  2. Add little yellow squares for windows, then draw doors and window frames with a black marker to bring each house to life.
  3. Cut white half-circles for snowy rooftops and glue them on top of your buildings.
  4. Create a brown paper tree and add fluffy cotton balls on the branches for freshly fallen snow.
  5. Glue cotton pads along the bottom to make a soft, snowy ground.
  6. Dip a cotton swab in white paint and gently dab snowflakes all over the sky to complete your cozy winter village.
