Rainbow Binoculars

See the world through the colors of the rainbow. These St. Patrick’s Day binoculars are perfect for a little leprechaun adventure or a rainbow treasure hunt around the house.

You’ll Need:

  • 2 toilet paper rolls
  • Washable paints
  • Paintbrush
  • String or yarn
  • Shamrock stickers or cutouts
  • Glue or tape

Let’s Make it:

  1. Paint one roll in bright rainbow stripes and the other in green for a lucky St. Paddy’s touch. Let them dry.
  2. Add shamrock decorations to the green roll using stickers, foam shapes or hand-drawn clovers.
  3. Glue or tape the two rolls together side by side, then attach a short piece of string or yarn so your little explorer can carry their binoculars on adventures.

Why We Love It:

  • Combines color learning, creativity, and fine motor play.
  • Encourages pretend play—perfect for backyard “leprechaun hunts”.
  • Easy to make with simple materials you already have at home.
