Handprint Witch on a Broomstick

This craft is playful, imaginative and a sweet way to capture those little hands in Halloween magic.

You’ll Need:

  • Orange and green/gray paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Black marker or pen
  • Brown marker or crayon (for the broomstick)
  • Paper
  • Optional: black paper or marker to draw the hat and cat

Let’s Make it:

  1. Paint one hand orange and press it down for the broom bristles. Paint the other hand green/gray and stamp it above for the witch. Let both prints dry.
  2. Draw a brown broomstick through both handprints. Use a black marker to draw a witch’s face, hat and a tiny black cat sitting on the broom.
  3. Add eyes, a belt on the hat or even a moon and stars in the background and your spooky witch is ready.
