Leafy Turkey

A nature-inspired craft that blends art, creativity and a dash of outdoor fun while collecting colorful fall leaves.

You’ll Need:

  • A few colorful fall leaves (different shapes and sizes)
  • White paper or cardstock
  • Glue stick
  • Googly eye
  • Brown, red and orange markers or crayons

Let’s Make it:

  1. Head outside for a leaf hunt — the more colors, the better.
  2. On your paper, draw a turkey’s head, neck and legs using crayons or markers, then add a bright orange beak and a wiggly red wattle.
  3. Glue on a googly eye to bring your turkey to life and finish by arranging your collected leaves behind the body to create a colorful, showy tail that captures all the beauty of fall.
