Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

With his bright red nose and festive hat, this little reindeer makes a charming addition to your holiday crafts.

You’ll Need:

  • Toilet paper roll
  • Two paper plates (for the antlers)
  • Googly eyes
  • Red felt (for the nose and collar)
  • Yellow felt (for the bell)
  • Tan paper or foam (for the muzzle)
  • Black marker
  • Scissors and glue

Let’s Make it:

  1. Paint the toilet paper roll brown for Rudolph’s body and paint two paper plates brown — these will become his antlers. Let everything dry completely.
  2. Cut two antlers from the dried paper plates. Make two small slits at the top of the toilet paper roll and gently slide the antlers into the cuts to secure them in place.
  3. Cut a tan oval for Rudolph’s muzzle and glue it near the middle of the roll. Add two googly eyes above it, then cut a small red oval from felt and glue it on as his nose.
  4. Draw a cheerful smile under the muzzle with a black marker.
  5. Wrap a red felt strip around the bottom for Rudolph’s collar. Cut a yellow felt circle, draw a bell design with a marker, and glue it to the center of the collar.

Why We Love It:

  • A great way to enjoy screen-free time together during the holidays.
  • A fun and festive way to turn everyday materials into a magical Christmas creation.
  • Encourages patience and focus while following each step to bring Rudolph to life.
