Santa’s Footprint Sleigh Ride

Turn your little one’s footprint into Santa’s magical sleigh, ready to fly across the sky with reindeers and magic.

You’ll Need:

  • White paper or cardstock
  • Washable brown paint
  • Paintbrush or sponge
  • Markers or crayons (red, yellow, orange, black, brown)
  • Wet wipes or a damp cloth for cleanup

Let’s Make it:

  1. Brush brown paint onto your child’s foot and gently press it onto the paper with the heel facing forward — this will be Santa’s sleigh! Let it dry completely.
  2. Once dry, use markers to draw Santa sitting inside the sleigh, his reindeers flying ahead and a big sack of gifts behind him.
  3. Decorate the sky with stars or snowflakes and draw rooftops below for that classic Christmas Eve feel.

Why We Love It:

  • Builds imagination as kids picture Santa’s night-time adventure.
  • A sweet keepsake of those tiny feet to treasure for years.
  • Encourages storytelling and color recognition.
  • Perfect for cozy Christmas crafting together as a family.
