Kitty Pencil Holder

Get your little one excited for school with this adorable kitty pencil holder — the purr-fect mix of creativity, recycling and organisation.

You’ll Need:

  • 3–4 empty toilet paper rolls
  • Cardboard or thick scrap box
  • Paper plate (for the face, paws and details)
  • Markers or crayons
  • Googly eyes (optional)
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Let’s Make it:

  1. Glue or staple the toilet rolls together, then place them on cardboard and trace around the connected rolls, making the base slightly wider than cut it out.
  2. Cut the cat’s face, paws, whiskers and ears from a paper plate, then colour and decorate each piece.
  3. Attach the cat face to the front toilet roll and the paws to the second and fourth rolls. Press everything gently to secure, let it dry and fill it with crayons, markers or school supplies and your cute kitty organiser is ready for use.

Why We Love It:

  • A creative way to make back-to-school feel exciting and special.
  • A gentle introduction to recycling, showing kids how we can reuse what we already have.
  • Perfect for those slower moments when you just want to unwind and create together.
  • Lets kids get creative and design their kitty exactly how they imagine it.
