Egg Carton Chicks

Turn an empty egg carton into the cutest little Easter chickens — each one holding a colorful Easter egg.

You’ll Need:

  • An empty egg carton
  • Plastic or real eggs
  • Paint or markers
  • Googly eyes
  • Felt (for beaks and combs)
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Let’s Make it:

  1. Cut one cup from the egg carton, keeping the tall sides around it so it looks like a little chicken body. Trim the front into a gentle point for the beak area and leave the back a little taller to hold the egg.
  2. Add googly eyes, a felt beak and a red comb to the tall, pointy side to bring each chick to life.
  3. Decorate an egg and place it inside each chicken.

Why We Love It:

  • Turns recycling into a fun, creative Easter activity.
  • Helps little hands practice careful gluing and placing small details.
  • Encourages creativity as each chick gets its own look and personality.
