Paper Plate Goat

This adorable paper plate goat is a fun farmyard craft that your kid will love making! With its big curved horns, friendly face and simple design, it’s a perfect way to bring barnyard animals to life at home or in the classroom.

You’ll Need:

  • 2 paper plates
  • Brown and black paint or crayons
  • Googly eyes
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Black marker

Let’s Make it:

  1. Take one paper plate and cut out a triangle-like shape with a curved top — think of it like a almost full slice of pie. This will be the goat’s face. Color or paint it light brown.
  2. At the flat bottom of the goat face color a small section dark brown or black. When it drys snip thin vertical lines into it to make the beard.
  3. From the second paper plate, cut two large curved strips for the horns and two smaller for the ears. Color the outer side of the ears brown and keep the horns white. Glue them to the top of the face — horns first, ears just below.
  4. Stick on two googly eyes, draw a little oval nose and smile with a marker, and your goat is ready to join the farm!
