Autumn Leaf Star Wand

Who knew fallen leaves could hold so much magic? Turn autumn’s crunch into a woodland star wand—perfect for pretend play and transforming nature’s scraps into pure enchantment

You’ll Need:

  • Dry autumn leaves (crushed into small pieces)
  • Cardstock (cut into a star shape)
  • Glue stick or liquid glue
  • A stick (for the wand handle)

Let’s Make it:

  1. Collect a handful of colorful, dry autumn leaves and crumble them into small pieces.
  2. Cut out a star shape from sturdy cardstock and spread glue all over it.
  3. Press the leaf pieces onto the star until it’s fully covered, then tape a stick securely to the back as the wand handle. Once it’s set, your woodland star is ready to wave.

Why We Love It:

  • Encourages outdoor play by collecting natural treasures.
  • Combines art and imagination for magical pretend play.
  • Strengthens fine motor skills while gluing and pressing.
