Egg Carton Flowers

Bring sustainability to your craft table with this bright, blooming, earth-friendly project.

You’ll Need:

  • Egg carton
  • Paint (spring colors like red, purple, pink, orange, yellow and green)
  • Paintbrushes
  • Paper straws (for stems)
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Let’s Make it:

  1. Carefully cut out 4 connected egg cups from the carton. Trim around the edges to create soft petal shapes.
  2. Paint your flowers in bright, cheerful colors. Once dry, add a yellow dot in the center for the pollen.
  3. Paint your paper straws green and let them dry, then glue each flower onto a straw.

Why We Love It:

  • Creates a sweet opportunity for parent–child bonding through shared creativity.
  • Offers a gentle introduction to sustainability and caring for the planet.
  • Makes a wonderful handmade gift for teachers and grandparents.
