Fork-Printed Tulips

Who knew a fork could grow flowers? Stamp, paint and watch your tulip garden bloom.

You’ll Need:

  • White paper or cardstock
  • Plastic or metal forks
  • Washable paint (red, yellow, orange, purple and green)
  • Paper plate (for the paints)

Let’s Make it:

  1. Squeeze a little paint of each color onto a paper plate or palette.
  2. Dip the back of a fork into one color and press it onto the paper to stamp a tulip. Repeat with different colors to grow a whole garden of blooms.
  3. Next, use green paint and a brush to add long stems reaching down from each flower. Paint leafy greens along the stems to make your tulips look full and fresh.
  4. Let your masterpiece dry completely before displaying your bright spring garden!

Why We Love It:

  • Turns a simple fork into a fun new painting tool.
  • Builds fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination.
  • Supports early art skills—like spacing, layering and symmetry.
