Magic Potion Cauldron 

Turn simple paper plates into a playful rainbow potion that looks like it’s bubbling straight from a lucky leprechaun pot.

You’ll Need:

  • Paper plate
  • Markers, crayons or paint in rainbow colors
  • Black construction paper (for the cauldron)
  • Yellow paper (for the bubbles)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick or tape

Let’s Make it:

  1. Take a paper plate and color the entire surface with rainbow strips. Flip it over and do the same on the other side so both sides are bright and colorful.
  2. Starting at the outside edge of the plate, cut in a spiral toward the center, like making a paper snake. This creates a long, swirly strip that looks like rainbow magic bubbling up from a lucky leprechaun pot.
  3. Cut a pot of gold shape from black paper. Add yellow paper circles at the top to look like bubbling gold.
  4. Glue or tape the center of your spiral rainbow strip to the pot so it rises upward and your lucky leprechaun pot is ready.
