Peek-A-Boo Puppets

An Easter craft made for those cozy moments when you and your little one create and play side by side.

You’ll Need:

  • White, brown and yellow foam paper
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Markers
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Let’s Make it:

  1. On white foam paper, draw a bunny with a few Easter eggs, a cracked egg shell for the chick and a white ribbon for your “Happy Easter” sign. On brown foam, draw a basket. On yellow foam, draw a chick and a yellow ribbon for the second “Happy Easter” sign. Color everything in and cut out all the pieces.
  2. On the back of the basket and the egg shell glue a matching piece of foam to create a little pocket, leaving a small opening at the bottom wide enough for a popsicle stick to slide through.
  3. Glue a popsicle stick to the back of the bunny and the chick, then slide each one into its pocket so it can move up and down. Add a small piece of foam near the bottom of each stick to act as a stopper, keeping the characters from sliding up too far. Pull and push the stick to make them pop up and hide again.

Why We Love It:

  • Creates a sweet, shared moment for you and your little one to slow down, create and play together.
  • Turns simple crafting into an interactive game.
  • Keeps little hands engaged as they pop the bunny and chick up and down.
