Rudolph Footprint

This adorable keepsake turns tiny hands into Santa’s favorite reindeer—complete with a bright red nose.

You’ll Need:

  • White cardstock or paper
  • Brown paint and paintbrush
  • Red paint or red pom-pom (for the nose)
  • Googly eyes or white/black paint for eyes
  • Black or brown marker (for antlers)

Let’s Make it:

  1. Brush brown paint onto the bottom of your child’s foot — this will be Rudolph’s head and neck.
  2. Press the painted foot onto the paper with the toes pointing up, then let it dry completely.
  3. Once dry, glue on googly eyes (or paint them on) and add a big red pom-pom or a dab of red paint at the heel for Rudolph’s shiny nose.
  4. Use a brown or black marker to draw tall, curly antlers sprouting from the top near the toes and your footprint reindeer is ready.

Why We Love It:

  • Captures a special holiday memory using your little one’s footprint — a keepsake you’ll treasure for years.
  • Encourages creativity while building fine motor skills.
  • Doubles as a heartfelt card for grandma and grandpa.
  • Easy, quick and low-mess — perfect for cozy afternoons at home.
