Woodland Leaf Crown

Who needs jewels when nature makes the loveliest crowns? This magical craft turns your little one into a woodland king or queen and is perfect for pretend play, autumn adventures or seasonal celebrations.

You’ll Need:

  • Autumn leaves
  • Cardstock strip (for the crown base)
  • Glue or tape
  • Scissors

Let’s Make it:

  1. Collect autumn leaves in bright colors (yellow, orange, red, brown). Try to choose ones that aren’t too dry so they won’t crumble.
  2. Cut a strip of card wide enough to hold the leaves and fit comfortably around the head.
  3. Glue the leaves onto the strip pointing upward like crown spikes. Overlap them slightly to create a layered effect.
  4. Once is dry, wrap it gently around your woodland prince or princess’s head and secure it at the back with tape—fit for royalty and ready for play.

Why We Love It:

  • Encourages kids to connect with nature and explore the outdoors.
  • Supports creativity by letting kids design their own crown patterns.
  • A fun accessory for storytelling, imaginative play, or seasonal festivals.
  • Easy, eco-friendly, and zero cost.
