Easter Chick Rock Painting

Turn ordinary rocks into sweet little chicks hatching from their shells — a fun Easter craft your child will love.

You’ll Need:

  • Smooth rocks (different sizes)
  • Yellow, white, black and orange paint
  • Paintbrushes (small detail brush helps)
  • Black marker
  • Yarn or paper grass (for the nest)

Let’s Make it:

  1. To bring them to life, first draw a fun zig-zag line where the “egg” will open.
  2. Paint the top part of the rock yellow and the bottom part white, then let them dry.
  3. Add the eyes and a tiny beak on each rock and your chicks are ready.

Why We Love It:

  • Turns simple outdoor finds into something cute.
  • Offers a peaceful, screen-free moment to slow down together.
  • Quick to set up and simple to make.
