Spring Blossom Peacock

This cheerful peacock craft invites little artists to explore colors, textures and the beauty of blooming flowers.

You’ll Need:

  • Cardboard
  • Artificial or real flowers in different colors
  • Black marker
  • A wooden skewer or craft stick to make the holes

Let’s Make it:

  1. Draw the outline of a peacock on a piece of cardboard, leaving plenty of space for its beautiful tail.
  2. Using a skewer, carefully make small holes throughout the tail area where the flowers will be placed – adult supervision is recommended.
  3. Gather your flowers,  trim the stems short and let your little artist arrange them in the holes, creating a beautiful peacock.

Why We Love It:

  • Strengthens hand-eye coordination.
  • Encourages planning and decision-making as kids choose colors, patterns and where each flower belongs.
  • Creates a wonderful opportunity for quality time together.
  • Budget-friendly and easy to make using simple materials and flowers you may already have at home.
