Recycle & Create: St. Patrick’s Toilet Roll

Spark creativity and eco-friendly thinking with these recycled St. Patrick’s Day toilet roll crafts.

You’ll Need:

  • Empty toilet paper rolls
  • Green paint
  • Coloured paper (yellow, brown, white, rainbow colours)
  • Black marker or pen
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Optional: gold glitter for coins

Let’s Make it:

  1. Paint your toilet paper rolls green and let them dry completely.
  2. Cut out fun St. Patrick’s Day shapes—rainbows, shamrocks, a leprechaun belt, a hat brim, horseshoes or a pot of gold—and colour or outline them with markers.
  3. Glue your shapes onto each toilet roll to turn them into themed St. Patrick’s Day rolls: rainbow, leprechaun hat and lucky horseshoe.

Why We Love It:

  • Inspires your kid to think creatively and mix own ideas with the classic St. Patrick’s Day elements.
  • Strengthens hand-eye coordination while working with small shapes and details.
  • Helps practice focus and patience while putting their decorations together.
